  • Character Customization: Use costumes or attachments to offer players the ability to customize their characters' appearance, including features such as power attachments, jet packs, clothing, and accessories.
    • Consider providing players with an opportunity to flaunt their unique game items and styles to others. Can players easily view the customizations other players have obtained? Is it clear which items are rare or valuable? Picture one player asking another, "Hey, how did you acquire that?" It adds to the fun and camaraderie of the gaming experience.

  • Base, housing, or object customization: Players love to own their own objects and spaces. Even though it may be limited, just offering a way to level up their objects and spaces can be fun and even more engaging if you allow them to compete against other players.
  • Weapon customization: Players love showing off their stats! They will drag their friends in to show off and help level them up to get the next level skin for their weapons.
  • Implement progression systems or in-game currencies: for unlocking and purchasing customization options, providing players with meaningful choices and goals.
    • Ensure clarity regarding upcoming rewards! By clearly outlining what rewards lie ahead, you can ignite excitement and encourage players to invest more time and effort in your experience. Set achievable milestones for them to anticipate, creating a sense of progression and motivation.
