Room Rewards Expands to More Creators
Changes are coming! Learn about the new token reward structure, what to expect for March, FAQ, and when February boxes are dropping.
Starting in March, big changes are coming to Room Rewards. We’re moving to a new progressive token reward structure, now rewarding eligible rooms at every tier.
We’ve received consistent feedback in surveys that many Creators feel it’s too difficult to earn tokens and it seems to favor Rooms that are already doing well.
So, we’ve rebalanced the rewards to focus on Rooms and Creators earlier in their journey, helping those Rooms grow while keeping the program sustainable for the long run.
We don’t take this decision lightly, and know changes to our reward structure can have serious impacts on our creators that rely on this income. That’s why we’re letting you know this change starts in March, and that we’re slowly transitioning the reward system. If your room is eligible on the old system, you’ll earn mixed rewards from both the old and progressive systems until it’s phased out before the end of the year.
So, what is the progressive reward structure, you ask?
You’ll start to receive rewards when your room qualifies for the C Tier based on user engagement or user commerce metrics. As you move up the Tiers, your token rewards will stack and you’ll start earning the next tier’s rewards at a new token rate.
The progressive rewards structure rewards lower tiers at a higher rate, so even if you don’t quite hit S Tier on your rooms, you’ll still receive rewards!

March Room RewardsWe’ll update the main program page by the end of February with all the details for March. Until then, here’s what you can expect:
- All Rooms (1.0 & 2.0) earn tokens starting at C Tier for both user Engagement and Commerce tracks
- 2.0 Rooms will earn double tokens for all Tiers (S, A, B & C)
- Eligible Rooms will earn tokens from both the old and Progressive System
- The R2 Hoodie is still available for all 2.0 Rooms starting at C Tier
- Seller Swag Bubbly will be removed in favor of tokens
Engagement (time spent per user)Users must spend 120 minutes or more in a Room during the month
Note: This is just the starting rate for the ramp-up of the new system. Combine rewards from both systems to get your Room's total monthly rewards for March.
Examples
- A B Tier Room would've earned 0 tokens with 220 users spending 120+ minutes in their Room on the Old System. However, with the Progressive System, the Room will now earn 36,800 tokens in addition to any potential Commerce track rewards. This amount would be doubled to 73,600 tokens if it was a 2.0 Room.
- A 2.0 Room achieves S Tier with 1000 users spending 120+ minutes in the 2.0 Room during the month. The Room's projected rewards from the Old System's new rate is 300,000 tokens. This Room would've also earned 130,900 tokens from the Progressive System, which means the total token rewards are combined to be 430,900 tokens!
Commerce (tokens spent per user)Users must spend 2500 tokens or more in a Room during the month
Note: This is just the starting rate for the ramp-up of the new system. Combine rewards from both systems to get your Room's total monthly rewards for March.
Examples
- An A Tier Room would've earned 0 tokens with 220 users spending 2500+ tokens in their Room on the Old System. However, with the Progressive System, the Room will now earn 292,500 tokens in addition to any potential Engagement track rewards. This amount would be doubled to 585,000 tokens if it was a 2.0 Room.
- A 2.0 Room achieves S Tier with 1000 users spending 2500+ tokens in the 2.0 Room during the month. The Room's projected rewards from the Old System is 4,000,000 tokens. This Room also earns 1,091,376 tokens from the Progressive System, which means the total token rewards are combined to be 5,091,376 tokens!
FAQQ: Will the Progressive System rewards increase over time?A: Yes, we plan to increase the token rate for many of the Tiers as we ramp down the Old system. Q: What's the maximum tokens each Tier can earn from the Progressive System in March?A: Here's the breakdown for ENGAGEMENT (double for 2.0 Rooms) Remember to add this to any earnings from the old system:
- C Tier Rooms can earn between 12,600 - 24,800 tokens
- B Tier Rooms earn between 24,925 - 40,425 tokens
- A Tier Room earnings are 40,475 - 52,925 tokens
- S Tier Room earnings start at 52,950 tokens & have no cap
- C Tier Rooms can earn between 77,500 - 155,000 tokens
- B Tier Rooms earn between 156,250 - 232,500 tokens
- A Tier Room earnings are 233,125 - 310,625 tokens
- S Tier Room earnings start at 310,938 tokens & have no cap
