Exchange tokens for real world money and earn exclusive avatar items!
Starting on January 1st, 2024, we are introducing a new standardized token exchange rate of $150 for 250,000 tokens. Read more about this change here:
A Partnered Creator is a creator that has earned tokens by selling Inventions, Keys, and Room Currencies in Rec Room. If you’re a Partnered Creator, you can exchange those tokens for real world money at a rate of 250,000 tokens for $150. For some in-game prestige, you’ll also receive exclusive avatar items for payment milestones at $100; $1,000; $10,000; and $50,000. Get ready to flex!
How to Become a Partnered Creator
REQUIREMENTS
- Your account is at least 30 days old
- Your account is not a Junior account
- You are 18 years of age or older, or 13-17 years of age with a parent or guardian's permission
- Your account has a verified email address
- Your account has an active RR+ membership
- You haven’t been banned in the last 30 days
- You are not actively restricted from selling
- You’ve earned a minimum of 250,000 tokens through selling or Creator Rewards
REGISTERIf you’ve met the requirements, register in your Creator Hub on rec.net. You’ll need to fill out a tax form and make an account with Tipalti—our payment processing partner. We will review your request and send payment via your selected payment method if approved.
REQUEST PAYMENTOnce you’ve met the requirements and registered on your rec.net profile page, you can exchange your earned tokens for money at a rate of 250,000 tokens for $150. You can exchange in increments of 250,000 tokens up to 250 million tokens—once each month.
