Creator Programs Reimagined
There have been a lot of questions about creative programs recently. Thanks for bearing with us as we worked through the options here. We have some good news to share.In short, Creator Classes, Creator Workshops, Featured Creator Clubs, and the Rec Room Gallery will keep running, and you can also still earn rewards! The main difference is that the leadership of these programs will go back to the creative community that's at the heart of them.
Say Hello to the Creative ClubFrom now on, these programs will be supported by the Creative Club - a group of experienced creators who’ve helped run past events and programs. They’re passionate about helping others grow, and now they’re stepping up to lead and manage the programs.Got questions about Classes, Workshops, or anything else creative? Creator ClassesWe’re making some changes to Creator Classes so that they’re simpler to run. We hope these changes also make it easier for teachers!
Creator Hours → Creator SemestersInstead of tracking hours, we’re now tracking semesters. After you complete a semester, you’ll earn rewards based on your tier.
What about past hours? Don’t worry, we’ve rounded your hours up to the nearest whole number. You’ll hit your next tier after finishing your first semester.Base Class Requirements:
- A semester must be at least one month long.
- At least 8 one-hour events must be held each semester.
- Max 4 teachers per class. Teachers must be present and active the entire semester to qualify for rewards.
Creator WorkshopsCreator workshops are mostly unchanged, but workshop hosts no longer need to submit a form after each workshop event.New! Workshop hosts submit a form after hosting 25 and 45 total events, respectively. Rewards are sent at the end of each month.
