Class of ’87 Reunion: A Trip Back to Old Rec RoomFor a lot of players, Rec Room isn’t just a game - it’s memories. Late-night Paintball matches. The first time you beat Golden Trophy. Hanging out in the Rec Center just because everyone else was there.That’s what the Class of ’87 Reunion is all about.From January 22-30th, we’re opening a recreated Classic Rec Center giving everyone - old and new - a chance to experience Rec Room the way longtime players remember the early days.

Welcome Back to the Old Rec CenterCoach dusted off the doors, hung up some banners, and decided it was finally time for a reunion.This event takes place in a faithfully recreated version of the old Rec Center, complete with:

Classic layout and atmosphere

Light reunion décor (balloons, banners, pennants)

Familiar spaces that longtime players will recognize instantly

This is a modified version of a super impressive room called LockerRoomArchive, built by @happyvr. - you'll be able to head there after the event ends to keep reliving the old days!

Iconic Community Rooms, RevisitedEarly on in Rec Room’s history, community rooms were starting to be published - and some of them became instant classics. During the reunion, you’ll find direct links to legendary rooms like:

Highlights & HangoutsThe basketball court has been repurposed into a cozy hangout space with couches and tables and a video player showing old Rec Room highlights. It’s the perfect spot to relax, watch clips, and reminisce with friends. The featured clips will rotate every other day during the event!

Event Challenges & Exclusive RewardTo really earn your alumni status, you’ll need to complete all three reunion challenges during the week-long event.
