We’re always reviewing our moderation policies and practices to make sure we’re preventing the wrong kinds of behavior and content and incentivizing creators to be their Rec Room Best. Recently, we’ve been disappointed by some behavior and we’ve heard your concerns about repeat violators, so we revisited our policies and actions to address these issues better.
CCoC Policy Violations & ActionsThis policy targets egregious offenses including, but not limited to, spam publishing or republishing content, misleading monetization practices or scams, sexual content, content containing threats or doxxing, and radical or extremist content.1st Violation: 7-Day Ban + Ban Violating Room(s)
2nd Violation: 30-Day Ban + Ban Violating Room(s)
3rd Violation: Permanent Ban + Ban Violating Room(s)We have immediately started enforcing this policy by actioning a handful of creators who have ignored our Creator Code of Conduct and engaged in republishing spam to date.Creators play a vital role in our community and help keep Rec Room fun and engaging for players all over the world! We are continually amazed by the experiences creators make using our tools, and we hope this policy better shapes the creative front.
